Hi, I’m Heidi Prude and I’m passionate about helping people feel supported, understood, and connected in every stage of life. I work with couples, families, children, teens, and young adults who may be navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional struggles, or difficulties communicating and connecting with one another.

I believe therapy should feel warm, welcoming, and safe—a place where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person and family’s unique needs. Whether I’m working with a child learning to express big emotions, a young adult finding their direction, or couples and families working to strengthen their relationships, my goal is to create a space where healing and growth can happen naturally. I enjoy helping clients build healthier communication, stronger relationships, emotional resilience, and practical coping skills that can be used in everyday life. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to make the therapy process feel approachable, supportive, and empowering.

Above all, I value authenticity, trust, and connection in the therapeutic relationship. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing, balance, and meaningful change.

Gabrielle is the founder, owner, and CEO of Solace Couples and Family Therapy. After experiencing therapy as a teenager, she fell in love with the process and knew what her life’s work would be. Shortly following her undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University, she pursued her graduate degree from Lipscomb University in Marriage and Family Therapy. To further complement her clinical skills, she attended Tennessee State University where she became a Licensed Professional School Counselor.

Her journey began ten years ago while providing in-home mental health services to families in the Middle Tennessee area. Since then she has worked in both academic and clinical settings supporting children, parents, individuals, families, and couples in reaching their goals and developing skills to enhance their relationships. Gabrielle is an AAMFT member trained in conflict management, mediation, and is Prepare/Enrich Certified. Tailoring interventions to each client, she uses a variety of systemic modalities including EMDR, structural therapy, strategic therapy, experiential therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and bridging the gap between therapy and marginalized communities, she also works with local nonprofits to help make therapy more accessible.

Gabrielle is a wife, a mother, and a Nashville native who enjoys traveling, great food, and spending time with loved ones. When she is not working, she is probably googly-eyed over her sweet baby boy or scouring Pinterest for home organization, decor, and fashion inspiration. She loves planning unique experiences and events, trying new things, and leaning into life’s little joys. Both fierce and empathetic, she is dedicated to creating unforgettable therapeutic experiences for her clients.
